Audio-only media is crucial in instructional design because it enhances learning through diverse formats, improves accessibility for various learners, and uses the power of storytelling and emotion to increase engagement.

Audio media can deliver clear, concise instructions while providing a more personal connection to learners. Lastly, it caters to different learning styles, such as supporting those with low literacy or other reading challenges.
